A time passes…
Now…The God Hand hurtles through space, juggling the Ever Wheel cosmology toward Eternity, not caring or maybe not even aware the happenings on the world of Palm. A mystical world that sits nestled below the overturned God Hand, right were the carpal bones begin to extend out into individual distinct digits. Right under the… Palm, duh. This location, that shields Palm from the ever-changing regular chaos that is the Ever Wheel’s cosmological system.
The God Hand continuously juggles the planetary realms of the Gods of Palm. Only one positive upper and one negative lower planetary realm is visible to the naked eye at a time. Very basically put, the visible positive realm functions as a sun while the visible negative realm a moon. The realm combinations and intervals separates the general seasonality across Palm and places unique effects on the planet during the period(of course a locations geography also has a bearing on this). Jimil + Klinch visible periods are the hottest, Applause + Fist visible periods are a gradual cooling and transition to The Garden + Antathyma visible periods which are shorter periods of intense cold and then rapid regrowth. The neutral planes of Limbo and The Infinity Pull are only ever visible once a year and not at the same time. Limbo is the only planetary realm visible on day 0 of each new year, The Infinity Pull is the only planetary realm visible on the 361st day of the year. These two planetary realms only ever travel along the planets equator, while the other six realms orbit the planet. Though only two are visible at a time, The God Hand is always juggling all the planetary realms in its fingers, circling them around the planet nestled in its Palm.
The seeming protection The God Hand provides Palm might give some of its inhabitants, and in fact does, a sense of feeling of benevolence from The God Hand. Surely, if it wasn’t benevolent, then why the protection? Simple, the God Hand cares ONLY for the continuing turning of the wheel…forever…and Ever.
